Steve is one of several tuba players in the band, and doubles as electric bass player for the band's jazz and rock numbers. He's also an excellent vocalist... and a yodeler extroardinaire! His electric bass skills, as well as his vocal prowess, stem from the fact that he also serves as the bass player and vocalist for The Internationals™.

Steve is one of the original members from the 10-piece version of the CBB. The 10-piece band was the first "official" Chico Bavarian Band (because that was the first group to actually get paid!). Of course, back then he was a so-so electric bass player and hadn't learned to yodel. We kept him around anyway, though, because we knew he had potential -- and he was fun at parties!
